An invoice will be sent before an appointment. There is a base price for vet euthanasia as well as a fee for the type of aftercare selected. We strongly suggest making the payment before your appointment in order for us to spend more time focusing on your pet the day of. If payment is made the same day of your appointment, it can be made with cash or any major credit card.

Your pet is cremated and his/her ashes will be spread in Final Gift’s Angel View Pet Cemetery.

0-30lbs and cats- $150

30-60lbs- $175

60+ lbs- $200

Private Cremation Cost

Your pet is cremated individually and his/her ashes will be returned to you typically 1-2 weeks after the appointment in one of six complementary urns of your choosing. 

0-30lbs and cats - $325

30-60lbs- $350

60+ lbs- $375

A memorial paw print can be made during the appointment for $30

If you pet passes naturally at home we can still provide cremation services. The pricing is the same as listed above depending on your choosing with an additional $120 travel fee.

There is an $90 additional fee for Giant breed dogs. (100lb+)

What to Anticipate During Your In-Home Pet Euthanasia Appointment in Manhattan

When we arrive for your Manhattan appointment, you'll have the opportunity to select a comfortable space for your pet. Prior to administering any medications, we take the time to have a thorough discussion about the process of euthanasia for dogs and cats. Our standard procedure begins with the gentle administration of a sedative to ensure that your pet is completely relaxed and peacefully resting. This enables you to spend precious moments with your pet before their passing. Many pet owners in Manhattan have remarked that they haven't seen their beloved companion this content in months or even years. When you feel ready, we will administer an injectable medication to help them peacefully cross over.

We take care of your pet’s transportation and aftercare in partnership with Final Gift Pet Memorial Center. Final Gift offers both private cremation and communal cremation. If choosing a private cremation, you will typically receive your pet’s ashes back to you in about 1-2 weeks after your appointment in one of six complementary urns of your choosing. If choosing a communal cremation, you will not receive ashes back and your pet’s remains will be placed in Final Gift’s Angel View Pet Cemetery.

Using Final Gift’s paws eTrack system we are able to offer transparency and accountability from pickup to delivery of your pet’s remains. Final Gift also provides 24/7 grief support by phone through their Pet Compassion Careline.
